Aberrations

The following aberrations could throw researchers off track.

Isaiah 34

The following prophecy has several elements found in other prophecies:

4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved (1), and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll (2): and all their host shall fall down (3), as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. (Isaiah 34)

1) All the host of heaven shall be dissolved

2) Heaven shall be rolled together as a scroll

3) All their host shall fall down

Other prophecies speak of the heavens shaking, unrolling, and the stars falling, but not being “dissolved.” The aberration is: “the host of heaven shall be dissolved.” The other items are pre-Millennium, the abberration will be post-Millennium.

2 Thessalonians 2:8

At first glance, the following prophecy implies the evil one will be destroyed at The Sign of Jesus’ Coming:

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (2 Thessalonians 2:8)

Some prophecies will be fulfilled over weeks, months, or years. Prophets, according to examples in scripture, may only report the highlights, without a length of time reference. Wisdom suggests, the above prophecy could be more involved than it looks.

There must be a time allowance for the wicked to first become “revealed” before it becomes destroyed.
